Diagnostics of system of automatic control in temperature (automatic telephone exchange) without its removal from the car

Some of models of cars of mark Jeep Grand Cherokee are equipped by system of automatic control in temperature (automatic telephone exchange) which structure includes also the digital indicator (display) which has been built in in the panel of devices. The system allows to make набортную (without removal from the car) diagnostics of its malfunctions of entrance and target contours and to define as flowing, so refusals taking place earlier. By refusals taking place earlier are meant such which have withdrawn by the current moment, they usually result from infringement of quality of electric contacts, an event during performance of procedures of service of any other components.

In a diagnostic mode the same part of a working surface of the screen of the display which serves for temperature indication works.

If in automatic telephone exchange system there is any failure, on the display each time at ignition inclusion appears (once the error message (ЕR) lights up).

For an input in diagnostics mode simultaneously squeeze out buttons "EXPERTS" and RECIRC and, keeping their pressed, turn on one click clockwise the management handle a temperature mode. Thus will join all screen of the display (segmentary check) (will light up).

After отпускания buttons in the left part of the screen there will be a digital code 00 (a choice of level of check).

Now press one (any) of mentioned above buttons. On the screen there should be a figure representing the sitting person that speaks about an input in diagnostics mode. If in memory are stored any of 64 (with 1 on 64) malfunction codes, they will be displayed. Write down the highlighted codes and verify them with a card of malfunctions (see the table more low), revealing the sites of system requiring more detailed check. In case of presence of codes with 25 on 29 before starting to the further checks it is necessary to replace the module of management of automatic telephone exchange.

Codes of current refusals will be erased in process of entering of corrections. For removal of codes of taking place earlier and self-liquidated malfunctions taking place earlier it is necessary to squeeze out both buttons on the panel and to keep their pressed during not less than 3 seconds About deleting of codes occurrence on the screen of the display of two horizontal hyphens testifies.

Diagnostics of system of automatic telephone exchange allows to reveal malfunctions both entrance, and the day off of its contours. However, if the mechanic-fan cannot find the taking place reason in a database of codes of malfunctions (see a card of codes more low), composers of the Management recommend to the owner of the car to address for consultation and the help in dealer branch.
