The general information

In order to avoid failure of a distributing box at all do not use for towage the equipment, capable to prevent rotation of wheels.

Towage all-wheel drive without mode switching-off 4WD in order to avoid failure of a distributing box of models should be made on a loader.

Models 4WD with possibility of switching-off of the forward bridge can be towed with only forward wheels lifted over the earth. Track, that the distributing box has been established in neutral position, АТ - in position Р, РКПП - on transfer.

In avoidance вытекания oil from a distributing box do not disconnect back карданный a shaft.

In the presence of the ignition key

Turn the ignition key in position OFF to unblock a steering column. Include transmission on transfer, a distributing box translate on a neutral.

At absence available the ignition key, but the open car

At absence available the ignition key and closed car RKPP and АТ

Make towage with the forward wheels raised over the earth.

Models with distributing box SELEC-TRAC/QUADRA-TRAC

In the presence of the ignition key

Turn the ignition key in position OFF to unblock a steering column and the gear change mechanism. Translate АТ in position Р, a distributing box establish on a neutral.

At absence available the ignition key, but the open car

Make sure that transmission is in position Р, switch a distributing box to a neutral.

At absence available the ignition key and the closed car

Make towage with the forward wheels raised over the earth.

Towage of the car in the absence of possibility of transfer of a distributing box in neutral position

Turn the ignition key in position OFF.

Transmission translate in neutral position.

Towage make with the forward wheels torn off from the earth.

If it is necessary to tow the car with the back wheels torn off from the earth, necessarily unblock a steering column (блокиратор it is not capable to sustain pushes occurring during towage). Then fix a steering wheel by means of strong clips specially developed for this purpose.

Models 2WD

Towage should be made with the transmission established in neutral position and with speeds not exceeding 50 km/h (30 miles/ch). The maximum range of towage should not exceed 25 km (15 miles), otherwise it is necessary to take advantage of a trailer, or to tow the car with the forward wheels torn off from the earth.
