Disunite an electric socket and compare conductivity on noted (see an illustration more low) plugs with спецификационными the data. In case of discrepancy try to make gauge-switch adjustment, then repeat check. If conductivity does not correspond to the table, replace the gauge-switch.

If the gauge-switch is perfectly in order, again connect an electric socket and lower the car on the earth. If is not present, - pass to performance of procedures of item 1.

Transmissions 42RЕ and 42RН/46RН
|
|
Make sure that the cable of switching of transmission is properly adjusted (Section Check of a condition and adjustment of a cable of switching).

The gauge-switch will not function normally if cable adjustment is broken. |
Disunite an electric socket and check up a continuity between the central plug of the gauge-switch and картером transmissions. The continuity should take place only in case of transmission installation in position Р or N.
|

Check up a continuity between the central plug and картером transmissions - it should take place only at the transmission established in position Р or N (42RЕ and 42RН/46RН).
|
Translate transmission in reverse gear position (Reverse) and check up a continuity on external plugs of the gauge-switch. The continuity should take place only in this position of transmission (Reverse), thus there should not be a continuity between external plugs and картером transmissions.

Translate transmission in position Reverse and check up a continuity on external plugs of the gauge-switch - it should take place only in this position of transmission, however there should be no a continuity between external plugs and картером transmissions.
|
If the gauge-switch is perfectly in order, connect an electric socket and lower the car on the earth. If is not present, - pass to performance of procedures of item 1.

Disunite an electric socket of the gauge-switch.
Unbend uvulas of a lock washer and give a nut of fastening of the gauge-switch. After a nut remove a lock washer.

Unbend uvulas of a lock washer, then remove a nut of fastening of the gauge-switch of the permission of start and its lock washer (only АW-4 models 1993 вып.).
|
Give an adjusting bolt of the gauge-switch.
Remove the gauge-switch from an axis.
Disconnect a rod of draught of switching from the switching lever on a transmission left-hand side.
Turn the lever handle against the stop back, then translate it forward through two fixed positions. Now the lever will appear in position N.
Establish the gauge-switch on an axis of the manual valve and by hand tighten an adjusting bolt. Yet do not tighten a bolt definitively.
Establish a lock washer on an axis of the manual valve and fix the gauge-switch a nut. A nut tighten with demanded effort, however do not bend while uvulas of a lock washer.
Make sure that transmission is in position N and turn the gauge-switch until standard line of neutral position of transmission on its case will not be combined with a vertical flute in an axis of the manual valve.

At established in position N transmissions rotate the gauge-switch of the permission of start until standard line of neutral position of transmission on the gauge-switch case will not be combined with a vertical flute in an axis of the manual valve (only АW-4 models 1993 вып.).
|
Tighten an adjusting bolt with demanded effort and bend uvulas of a lock washer, законтрив a fixing nut of the gauge-switch.
Connect an electric socket and draught of switching, lower the car on the earth and check up gauge-switch functioning, having convinced that starter start is possible only transmission positions Р and N. Before the beginning of check do not forget to cock a lay brake reliably.

Establish under the gauge-switch drain capacity.
Disunite an electric socket of the gauge-switch and remove last from transmission.
Translate the switching lever in position Р or N and make sure that petals of the executive lever of the gauge-switch are on the aperture centre under gauge-switch installation in картере transmissions.

Translate the switching lever in position Р or N and make sure that executive petals of the gauge-switch of the permission of start are located on the aperture centre under gauge-switch installation in картере transmissions.

Establish on the new gauge-switch new consolidation and screw the gauge-switch in картер transmissions. Tighten the gauge-switch with demanded effort.
Connect an electric socket, lower the car on the earth and add in transmission a liquid of a demanded grade (the Head of Adjustment and routine maintenance).
