Serviceability check, removal and installation of the case of a throttle

On the top part of the case of a throttle the vacuum hose which goes to the gauge of absolute pressure in the pipeline (МАР) (only models with engines in volume 4.0) is fixed. Disconnect a hose from the case of a throttle and instead of it connect the vacuum gauge.

Disconnect from the throttle case a vacuum hose of gauge MAR and instead of it connect the vacuum gauge (only for engines in volume 4.0).

Start the engine and warm up it to normal working temperature (the fan of system of cooling should be started at least twice). The vacuum gauge should not fix depression - make sure of it.
Slightly slightly open throttle заслонку, having exceeded single turns of the engine and make sure available depression on the vacuum gauge. If depression is not fixed, check up passableness of the union. In case of need clean it by means of a cleaner of carburettors.
Stop the engine and make sure of smoothness of a course of a cable of gas and throttle заслонки.
If there are obvious signs of jamming, check up a cable and an axis заслонки on presence on a bottom шлама and other adjournment.
In case of detection of adjournment, try to remove them by means of a cleaner of carburettors or other suitable solvent.
If cleaning does not lead to problem elimination, replace the block of the case of a throttle.

Removal and installation
|

Before starting procedure performance wait full cooling of the engine. |
|
|
Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
Remove the air sleeve connected to assemblage of an air cleaner and the case of a throttle.
Disunite an electric socket of the gauge of position заслонки (TPS) on the throttle case. Mark and disconnect from the throttle case vacuum hoses.
Disconnect a gas cable (Section Replacement of a cable of gas) and if it is provided, a transmission TV-cable (the Head Automatic transmission).
Disconnect from the case of a throttle hoses of system of cooling. Закупорьте lines in order to avoid cooler losses.
Give four nuts and remove a lining of the case of a throttle. Remove from interfaced surfaces of the case of a throttle and the inlet pipeline all traces of a material of an old lining.

Give four nuts (arrow) and separate the case of a throttle from the inlet pipeline (the engine in volume 5.2 is shown).

Installation make upside-down. Do not forget to replace a lining. Make adjustment of a cable of gas and if that is provided, a TV-cable (the Head Automatic transmission). Check up cooler level, in case of need make having added (the Head of Adjustment and routine maintenance).
