Removal and installation of covers of heads of cylinders

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Disconnect a negative wire from the battery. Remove air cleaner assemblage (the Head of the Power supply system and release of the fulfilled gases). Remove ventilation hoses картера and managements of functioning of system of catching of steams of fuel. Remove from a cover of the left head of cylinders an arm охладительной tubes. Disconnect from spark plugs candle wires (it is necessary to pull only for a cover of a tip of a wire). It makes sense to mark preliminary wires for a guarantee of their correct connection at assemblage. Remove from hairpins of covers of heads of cylinders plastic holders of wires and will put them together with wires aside.

Holders try to pull vertically upwards - they are fragile enough and can be easily broken in case of formation of the slightest warp at removal.

    Give bolts of covers of heads of cylinders.

The fixture part is not bolts, and hairpins - put on surfaces of covers of a label around installation of hairpins that at assemblage to have possibility to arrange fixture in a former order.

    Remove covers of heads of cylinders.
    After обстукивания covers a hammer with rubber brisk, lift it upwards.

If the cover "has become attached", обстучите it slightly for clearing on perimetre a hammer with soft the brisk. If обстукивание has not helped, try to push in a joint between a cover and a head an edge шпаклевочного a knife and with its help to cut a layer of old hermetic. Do not try to hook a cover the lever filled in a joint is it is fraught with damage of interfaced surfaces.

Installation

Interfaced surfaces of both heads and their covers before installation of the last should be smoothed carefully out. With the help прокладочного a scraper remove from interfaced surfaces all traces of a material of an old lining and hermetic, then wipe surfaces the rags moistened in acetone. If at installation to leave on interfaced surfaces traces of hermetic or oil it will lead to development of leaks of oil in the near future.

Metallized (on a metal substrate) silicone linings if they are not damaged are subject to a reuse.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Make sure that carving apertures in heads are absolutely pure. For removal of traces of hermetic and restoration of the damaged coils banish a carving of apertures a tap. Before installation of covers put linings and to heads of cylinders. Cautiously establish a cover on the first head and screw fixing bolts/hairpins. Tighten fixture with demanded effort in three stages.

ВКОЕМ the CASE do not tighten bolts/hairpins of covers of heads of cylinders more strongly, than it is required.

    The further installation in an order, the return to a removal order. Start the engine and carefully check up it on leaks in the course of a warming up.
