The general information
The given Chapter is devoted procedures of repair and service of engines V8, not demanding extraction of that of the car. All information, concerning removals and engine installation, and also major repairs of the block and heads of cylinders can be found in the Head of Procedure of the general and engine major repairs.
The description resulted in the text of the given Part of the Head of procedures is made on the basis of the assumption that the engine does not act in film from the car. In a case if the engine is taken and established on the dismantling stand for carrying out of the full major repairs, many of intermediate steps of descriptions will appear are inapplicable.
The specifications resulted in the beginning of the given Part of the Head concern only the procedures described here. The Technical requirements, concerning performance of procedures of repair and restoration of the block and heads of cylinders are resulted in the Head of Procedure of the general and engine major repairs.
Engines to which the given Chapter is devoted represent engines V8, with the top arrangement клапанного the mechanism (ОНV), volume 5211 sm3 (5.2) equipped with hydraulic pushers of roller type and electronic system of injection of fuel.
