All-wheel drive (4WD) models are equipped by two differentials - oil levels should be checked in both. |
The forward differential is equipped by a carving stopper of the control of level/gulf of oil whereas on back differential the jellied aperture is muffled by a rubber stopper-plug. For check of levels of oil in differentials both stoppers should be removed. If the car поддомкрачен for simplification of access to a stopper, take care of reliability of its installation on props - AT ALL do not make any works under the car, fixed in the lifted condition only by means of a jack (ов)! For a guarantee of reliability of results of check the car should be established strictly horizontally.

Remove a stopper of the control of level/gulf of oil on a cover of the case of differential.

By means of a ratchet drive complete with the extension piece on 3/8 inches (9 mm) turn out a stopper of the control of level/gulf of oil of forward differential.

|
On back differential a small screw-driver hook a rubber stopper and take it from a jellied aperture - pay attention to the data of the case of differential of a label (marksman) fixed on a cover containing the important information.

Oil level should reach the bottom cut of a jellied aperture. If this condition is not carried out, make having added by means of a syringe or a butterdish with elastic walls. Having added make only oils of a demanded grade and continue it until oil will not start to follow too much apertures. On some models (in particular equipped in the differential of the limited sliding) around stopper installation the label with data on requirements to an oil grade fastens.
Establish a stopper into place and strongly tighten it.
