Replacement колодок disk brake mechanisms

Replacement колодок should be made simultaneously on both brake mechanisms forward (or back) wheels - never change Pads only one of brake mechanisms. Besides, it is necessary to pay attention that the dust developed by brake mechanisms in the course of their work can contain unhealthy asbestos. At all do not blow off a dust from surfaces of components of brake mechanisms the compressed air and do not inhale it. Works is better to make in a protective respiratory mask. At all do not use for cleaning of components of brake mechanisms solvents on an oil basis or gasolines - use only патентованными means for cleaning of brakes!


Procedure is applicable for replacement колодок both forward, and back disk brake mechanisms.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Uncover the tank of a brake liquid. Loosen the nuts of fastening of forward wheels, поддомкратьте redock of the car also establish it on props. Remove forward wheels. Work with each of brake mechanisms serially, the second keeping as the sample of assemblage in case of occurrence of doubts in correctness of the representation about it. Carefully check up a condition of a brake disk (Section condition Check, removal and installation of a brake disk). If there is a need for carrying out станочной processings, remove a disk (sm more low in the given Section). Simultaneously there is also an extraction possibility колодок from a support. Push the support piston into the cylinder, having provided free space for installation new колодок (which thickness more than at worn out old). For performance of this problem it is possible to take advantage of a clamp. At отжимании the piston liquid level in the main brake cylinder will automatically rise. Watch that it has not started to follow too much, in case of need suck away surplus (шприцом or an enema - at all a mouth!).
    By means of the big clamp push the piston into the support cylinder - notice that one of clamp sponges rests against a plane on the back party of a support, and the second (mobile) - in external колодку.

    For extraction from a support internal Pads take its clamp from a cavity in a piston body.
    Take plugs of both fixing pins and examine them on presence of traces of corrosion and deterioration; if any of pins it is damaged, replace it.
    If duster a pin or the plug will burst, it is torn or overdried, replace it.
    Grease plugs with high-temperature greasing.
    Establish plugs into place.
    Before installation new brake колодок wring out the piston in the nest in a support against the stop, having provided with that sufficient free space for clothing new колодок (большей than the worn out thickness) on a disk.
    Enter a clamp internal Pads into a cavity in a piston body; make sure that the clamp was reliably latched in the piston (колодка should nestle densely on the piston).
    Establish new external колодку, firmly having pressed its ears thumbs, as is shown in a picture; Make sure that колодка by correct image it was fixed in clips.
    Establish assemblage of a support with колодками on a disk, insert fixing pins and tighten them with demanded effort.
    At support installation into place tighten pins of its fastening with demanded effort. On termination of works some times strongly squeeze out a pedal of a brake for усадки new колодок on a disk. Before starting car operation, check up brake system on presence of leaks and make sure of serviceability of functioning of brakes.
