Removal and installation of a distributing box

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Disconnect a negative wire from the battery. Поддомкратьте the car also establish it on props. Remove заносную a plate. Merge oil from a distributing box and transmission (the Head of Adjustment and routine maintenance). Disunite electric socket VSS. Remove assemblage of a VSS/nozzle of a speedometer for the purpose of prevention of its damage to process of removal of a box (the Head Automatic transmission). Disconnect the lever of switching of a distributing box from a rod of the lever of switching (illustrations Components of draught of switching of the distributing box NР231 interfaced with РКПП, Components of draught of switching of the distributing box NР231 interfaced with АТ or Components of draught of switching of distributing box NР242 of models 1993 вып see.). Disconnect all vacuum/ventilating lines and plaits of wires from a distributing box. Remove components of system of release for the purpose of providing of access to a box and necessary working space (the Head of the Power supply system and release of the fulfilled gases). Remove карданные shaft (the Head Coupling and трансмиссионная a line). Prop up transmission тележечным a jack (it is desirable specially equipped for this purpose - safety chains will allow to fix reliably a box on a jack). Give nuts of fastening of a distributing box to transmission. Once again make sure that all lines and wires are disconnected from a box, then shift a box together with a jack back on the car while it will not separate from transmission. During procedure performance try to keep a box in horizontal position. After the primary shaft will be liberated, lower a distributing box and take it from under the car.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Having fixed a distributing box on a jack, as well as at removal, safety chains, lift it in adjusting position behind transmission and cautiously start to move forward, entering a primary shaft into gearing with secondary shaft of transmission. Do not try to join a box with transmission by force. If the primary shaft does not enter into transmission, try поварьировать an inclination of a box and-or slightly повращать a shaft for its combination шлицов with reciprocal in transmission. Establish bolts of fastening of a distributing box to transmission. Tighten them with demanded effort. Having disconnected safety chains, remove a jack which is propping up a distributing box. Establish карданные shaft (the Head Coupling and трансмиссионная a line). Establish into place components of system of release of the fulfilled gases (the Head of the Power supply system and release of the fulfilled gases). Connect vacuum/ventilating lines. Connect the lever of switching of a distributing box to a rod of the lever and make draught adjustment (Section Adjustment of draught of switching). Establish a VSS/nozzle of a speedometer and connect an electric socket (the Head Automatic transmission). Check up oil level in a box, in case of need make having added (the Head of Adjustment and routine maintenance). If the car is equipped РКПП, at the given stage it is necessary to check up also level трансмиссионного oils in it (the Head of Adjustment and routine maintenance). Clean jacks and lower the car on the earth. Connect a negative wire to the battery. Spend trial runs, having made sure of serviceability of functioning of all knots. Check up knots on leaks.
